so some things have changed.. i don't work at blockbuster anymore...a new store manager started there and she was all grrr and her and i were butting heads...that, and i know people that have been working there for years and are still making under $10 an hour. and their insurance sucks. so yeahhh i was like fuck that shit. so on to home depot! that is nearly as bad as blockbuster in some respects, worse than blockbuster in some respects, and better than blockbuster in some respects. all in all, i'm making $1.40 more an hour there, and i know the insurance is a little better. my dad works there, though, as a department head...and he's not too happy that i'm there, i think. not that he's ever really happy. but whatever. that and my boyfriend works there. yes, the whole "james mullaney is an asshole" entry, right before this one...yeah, that's him...and i'm still with him. 2 1/2 years this thursday. don't know if that's a good thing or not, for he's still an asshole. took a class a while ago at hartford hospital's school of allied health...for phlebotomy. haven't done my internship yet, since i haven't gotten my driver's license yet...and i don't want to do the internship until then. so yeahhhh. some things have changed...some things haven't. all i know is that life still sucks. |
